Cocoa

We source our certified cocoa through our subsidiary company gebana Togo from the Plateaux region around the cities Kpalimé and Badou in Southern Togo. We can offer both organic certified cocoa beans as well as conversion cocoa beans from farmers not yet certified organic.

The family farmers we work with harvest, ferment and dry the beans themselves. Through our team of field agents, we are in direct contact with the farmers and train them in organic farming as well as dynamic agroforestry.

ORIGIN: Togo

THE PRODUCT: Cocoa beans, dried with a reddish brown to blackish brown colour.

VARIETIES: Upper Amazonian hybrids, Trinitario and Amelonado

VOLUMES: 300 MT per year (organic & FLO), 500 MT per year (conversion)

CERTIFICATIONS: EU Organic, USDA Organic, FLO Fairtrade, HACCP
