Impact lies at the heart of our company. We measure it through more than 150 sustainability KPIs showing how our actions translate into real change.
We work every day to make trade fairer. At gebana, this means higher incomes for family farmers, local job creation, and a resilient local economy, while protecting the environment. This is what we call impact.
For 2025, we reported the following key figures:
premiums paid to family farmers – including FLO and gebana premiums from sales generated on the gebana online shop (+ 8 % vs 2024)
family farmers supply directly the whole gebana Group
employees worldwide, 91 % of which in the Global South
of our turnover comes from organic certified products
of sales certified Fairtrade
invested by the gebana group in 2025, 93 % in the Global South
Our data comes from subsidiaries in Burkina Faso and Togo, partners in Brazil and Tunisia, certification bodies, and annual audits. All numbers are verified and published annually.
